The gettermaterial inRestek’s re-engineered line of thermal gas purifiers reacts chemicallywith impuri-
ties in thecarriergas stream.Because thereaction isnon-reversible, there isnopossibilityof contaminants
breaking through the thermal gas purifier.
Gas purification is very economical when you use a thermal gas purifier. Getter tubes normally require
changing only once per year; heavy use or very impure feed gasmay requiremore frequent getter tube
replacement.
