Innovative Integra-Guard
Columns
Some people swear bypress-fit connectors, andothers swear at them. Formany analysts, the
art of attaching a guard column to an analytical column is amystery. Restek’s chemists have
discovered the solution to thismystery—the easiest, most reliable connection is no connection
at all!Noguard column system ismore permanent thanone continuous lengthof tubing
containingboth theguard column and the analytical column.
Restekoffers awidevarietyof Integra-Guard
capillary columnswith aguaranteed leak-free
connection!Theguard column is tied separately from the analytical column, usinghigh-
temperature string. The transition area between the columns is the point atwhich the guard
column ends and the analytical columnbegins. The entire setup is suspended inour unique
“crush-free” cage, whichprevents the column from coming in contactwith anything that
coulddamage it.
Ordering is simple. Just add theappropriate suffixnumberandprice to theanalytical column’s
catalognumberandprice. For example, a30m, 0.25mm ID, 0.25µmRtx
